You can order cantilevers of the CSC17, NSC14, NSC15, NSC16, and NSC18
one rectangular cantilever on chip) with a well-known, pre-measured
force constants.
The cantilevers are individually calibrated at the facility using nondestructive
methods
of force constant determination. The technique is based on the analysis
of cantilever
oscillation damping in liquids developed by Prof. John
E. Sader (Univ. of Melbourne)
and described in Rev.Sci.Instrum., 70, 3967 (1999).
